really wasn't that short. It was a good length in terms of how much was going on in that game. Heavenly Sword is definitely not on the same level. Many times in playing HS I felt like it was incomplete. I never got that feeling with Gears. I also don't agree that Mike Capps is making an excuse for length with Gears 2. Cliff B has gone on record to say the experience will be longer.
Lair, Killzone (orignial PS2), Too Human and Haze are all flops. The reason were due to over hype and unfulfilled expectations. If Heavenly Sword were not a flop, we would be hearing about a sequel. The orginal Killzone was billed as a Halo killer and was a horrible game. Yet Sony decided that they would go ahead with a sequel, that is taking four years to create...Which still has the high potential to be bad like it's predessor. So yeah for a title like Two Human it's pretty sad that reviews...
would you do such a review is beyond me. This is just an adjunct to the game. I for one never expected them to put that much energy into a game, who's sole purpose is to make sure you have some change in the main game. I want them putting more effort into that, I have other "real" games on my plate.
I mean who talks about MGO? No one, but does it stop MGS4 from being a game that is great to play? No...
I get what they were doing, but it's really useless an...
and predictions are like George Bush speeches. You learn nothing, unreliable information, and wonder why are they even here...
This generation is hilarious, you'd swear with all the fanboy hate on the 360 these guys would be right all the time.
I know some guys at work who are waiting on the 60gb, Gears2, Fable, COD5...So I don't know who you guys are talking to but being that this is the summer. You all need to be a bit more smarter concerning the market at this tim...
I actually played the Wii, and I actually pay attention to the games they have on the shelves. Most of which I wouldn't wipe my ass with. Then to top it off E3 2008 showed you everything you need to know about software on the Wii and Nintendo's view on gamers...Could care less is the best way to sum it up.
So when I speak about the other two consoles, they are letting Nintendo live. The "Get money" approach that Nintendo is on this generation is vanilla, commercialized,...
like this is why guys like him need to create their own companies. Companies like Take Two need guys like him who are going to put them on their back and run with it all. If Take Two didn't have GTA4 we'd be saying EA Took two...
Point is he's right, but these companies are at a point of no return. EA, and the rest can't afford to lose. They care not so much about gaming, but more about their margins, investors, and market share. The next couple of years in the gaming industry ar...
we are at in technology is fairly new. There isn't a thing we need to catch up on in terms of advancement. It's actually taking advantage, and pushing what is currently available to us. Case in point the Wii technology has been around for ages, but Nintendo's focus on how technology can be used is what has them in the lead. Technology is just a tool, not an end all...
These companies are just creating just to be creating.
sales are not as robust for Madden as they would like. I'd say not having any competition isn't good for Madden. Especially when you have kids into the Wii. That's less new sports fans getting into the game, because parents aren't purchasing Madden for the Wii.
The whole argument is actually mute. The Wii is indirect competition to Sony and Microsoft. Yet here's the skinny that people aren't paying attention to. Sony and Microsoft are allowing Nintendo to have this time in the su...
Was the same way for me. I remember being young and my friend having both Metal Gear, and Castlevania for the NES. That's where I learned that you should play a game more than once when you don't understand it.
I never played a game where stealth was involved, so I couldn't understand why I was getting killed.
Too Human is the same way, if you go in thinking the title is a certain way you will miss out on something unique. The first time I played it, I thought it w...
LoD did really well for a first time rpg of it's kind. I didn't get a chance to pick it up, but I will in September. That along with Undiscovery. I'd pay attention to lifetime sales of the game, because by the time this generation is over LoD will be a classic.
the beginning of something special. Can you imagine if they start to sell more, those global sales will be very interesting for the 360 if Japan starts to get on the bandwagon. Loved the demo...
For sandbox gaming to evolve, and a title like this could be just the game. They have to focus on the game in fact treat it like a graphic novel in many ways. Also please get the combat right. If Batman plays like Niko, I'm throwing the game in the garbage asap.
of you guys know Cliff on a personal basis. So what if he's proud of his game, and says it is. No different than in sports, there are some players that are going to put in the work, and stand by it. I don't want every developer giving me the company line. None of you know if Ted from Insominiac is an asss.
The Sony Bricade hates the success of the 360 so a game like Gears. Which does everything so well for a brand new IP. It's natural that there would be improvements needed fo...
Konami told Kojima's ass to hurry up and finish the multiplatform goodness that this will be. Sony paid Konami a grip for exclusivity, and bundling the title with the PS3.
